Meet Our Pastor
My name is Anthony Puckett. I was born on January 1, 1970. I attended school at Mt. Zion where I met my wife Lisa in the fall of 1986. We were high school Sweethearts! I graduated in 1988 and Lisa graduated in 1991. After high school, I began working at Southwire, where I was Saved at the loading dock of The Copper Division in November of 1990. Lisa and I got married in March of 1993. After my Salvation and getting married we began to search for a church home, we planted our feet at Eureka Baptist Church in Carrollton, Ga. We joined Eureka in 1997 and I was baptized there. After joining the church, I began serving in many different areas, I began by teaching the Youth Sunday School Class and was the Sunday School Director. In 1998 I was ordained as a Deacon, where I filled in at the pulpit for the Pastor on many occasions. My daughter Meagan was born in August of 1998. In September of 2001 my daughter Anna was born. In October of 2001 I was called to Preach and I continued to serve under Dr. Bill Clinton. I was licensed to Preach at Eureka on November 7, 2001. I served at Eureka until God moved my family and I to Harmony Baptist Church in 2002. At Harmony I served alongside Rev. H.T. Henderson and was called to be the Associate Pastor and I was ordained into the Gospel Ministry on November 10, 2002. After serving 8 months as the Associate Pastor, Harmony Baptist Church called me to be their Full-Time Pastor in July of 2003. Since then God has truly blessed my family and I. In my time here at Harmony, I have helped in building a new Church which we moved into in 2004, and helped start a Bus and Van Ministry. My family and I have seen many people give their lives to Christ and I am very excited to witness the things that God has done for us and what he will continue to do in our lives!
